Public Data Research & Analysis
Conducted weekly research and analysis of Korean public datasets, including platforms provided by Gyeonggi Province and the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
 

AI4D Project Participation (KOICA AI Challenge 2025)

• Contributed to AI4D’s submission to the KOICA Public Data AI Challenge in June–July 2025.

• Searched and analyzed AI applications and policies from international donors including the UK, USA, Germany, Japan, and China as well as international organizations such as the World Bank.

• Helped curate and interpret policy-relevant public data for embedding in an AI-based RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) chatbot.

• Result: AI4D was awarded the Excellence Prize (2nd)  and received a cash award (as much as USD 700).

Metadata & Embedding Operations

• Assisted in chunking and embedding public policy documents (PDF, DOCX, HWP) into vector databases.

• Supported basic metadata structuring aligned with semantic search and GenAI applications.
   

Multilingual Translation & Paraphrasing

• Reviewed and refined translations between Korean and English for international development and AI-related texts.

• Engaged in contextual editing and paraphrasing of technical documents to improve clarity and accessibility.

Ongoing Research 

• World Bank climate action datasets and contributing to a research report on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ open data policies.
